How Adam reclaimed his health from intestinal parasites

Adam had an interesting – but nasty – story. He grew up in South Africa; spending time in the military before moving to the UK (close to my home town).

He’d always played rugby and even run marathons – in other words he was fit and healthy.

But 8 years ago when working at sewage treatment he got sprayed with raw, untreated sewage; it was quickly washed off and he thought nothing of it.

A few days later, however, on his way to the airport, Adam began felt poorly.

He developed pain in his right hand side, under his rib cage and up into his right shoulder (this is often a sign of liver problems).

He was in excruciating pain for 4 days and the doctor said he had shingles.

On his return, the UK doctor said he had gallstones, but when he ran an ultrasound it was clear and there were no gallstones to be found.

He then developed pain in his back and doctors diagnosed that a “virus” had gone to his liver.

Years later, Adam contacted me suffering abdomen pain, night sweats, a weakened Immune system where he caught colds and flu very easily, and what he called “brain fuzz, where he struggled to concentrate.

He’s an intelligent guy and couldn’t get past linking the onset of his symptoms with the sewage incident.

We ran a comprehensive stool test and the results were shocking on one hand, but great on the other hand, as we clearly found the answer to some of Adam’s symptoms.

As you can see below, he had a bacterial overgrowth with Aeromonas, which can cause a multitude of digestive symptoms.

Adam was also carrying the microscopic parasite Blastocystis hominis, as well as pinworm (AKA Enterobius vermicularis).

Finally, he had a Chlonorchis sinensis infection. Now, this one was the most interesting to me because this bad bug is also known as the Chinese liver fluke.

Here’s what it looks like (it’s only a centimeter long, but still not for the squeamish).

I knew we ‘d found at least some of the reasons why Adam had been feeling unwell – one bacterial overgrowth and THREE parasites.

We embarked on a 3 month program of removing these bad bugs and strengthening Adam’s immune system.

He experienced significant improvements in his symptoms and quality of life.

When we retested, Adam had successfully eradicated the Aeromonas bacteria, pinworm, and liver fluke.

His Blasto was still there, but we’d succeeded in dealing with 3 out of the 4 bad bugs in just 90-days.

We’d never have known why Adam wasn’t feeling well had it not been for the stool test and I often

Sleep problems and cognitive symptoms such as poor concentration and memory are all very common, but doctors never relate those symptoms to the gut and liver.

If you’re experiencing symptoms in your digestive system, low energy, changes in mood, poor sleep or any other, for that matter, a stool test may be the perfect starting point to look for answers.

And don’t forget:

Stool tests are done in the privacy of your own home – you just send off a sample in the packaging provided.

If the test comes back blank, you get a full refund.

Of course, I’m biased, but arranging a test could transform your health, as it did mine.

You can find out more about a test, or arrange one, here.

Best

Dave.
