Case Study – Vian N

How Vian beat her digestive and boosted her sex life

Vian, aged 25 and from Canada, made an online enquiry because she was struggling with a whole gamut of nasty symptoms for two long years.

Her digestion was really playing up and she frequently experienced these symptoms:

  • Bloating
  • Gas
  • Constipation
  • Painful to pass stools
  • Blood loss with stools

She had a smattering of other uncomfortable symptoms that were really detracting from her quality of life, including her intimate relationship.

  • Mouth ulcers
  • Mood swings
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Low energy
  • Hair loss
  • Swollen labia (vaginal lips)
  • Painful intercourse
  • Vaginal discharge

As odd as it may seem, and going against the conventional medicine paradigm, we were confident these symptoms were all connected.

As I have said before, certain symptoms relating to the vagina and genitourinary tract such as discharge and painful intercourse are usually related to some kind of infection.

And, because the anus is so close to the opening of the vagina, the balance of microbes strongly influences the balance in a woman’s genitourinary tract.

We were convinced that a stool test would reveal some, if not all, of the reasons for Vian’s digestive and genitourinary symptoms.

Vian’s stool test results

Vian’s stool sample revealed some very interesting findings:

  • Candida overgrowth
  • Candida dividing, indicating
  • Common yeast
  • Klebsiella overgrowth
  • Proteus vulgaris overgrowth
  • 1 undigested tissue
  • 1 RBC
  • 1 starch granules

Here is a snippet of her test:

In addition to these markers, Vian also had H. pylori at a level that we felt was likely to be causing problems.

We know that Candida, Klebsiella and Proteus can all cause genitourinary infections in addition to causing a whole host of digestive symptoms.

We could see that in addition to her constipation, bloating and gas, Vian wasn’t digesting her food properly.

Because H. pylori can slow down digestion by reducing stomach acid levels, we decided that it would be wise to deal with all the test findings in an appropriate sequence.

In addition to her stool testing results, we also learned that Vian had sluggish thyroid activity and a low vitamin D level.

Hypothyroidism can result from problems in the gut, but it can actually cause digestive symptoms – especially constipation – as well.

Because vitamin D is so important for immune function, and because Vian had so many ‘bad bugs’ in her gut, it was important to support her vitamin D level as well.

Jack Walton, my Hompes Method master practitioner, worked with Vian, holding her hand step-by-step through the process of altering her eating habits, lifestyle and other factors that were contributing to her symptoms.

Together, they changed her diet to eliminate possibly trigger foods for her symptoms, while replacing those foods with healthier alternatives.

On top of Vian’s nutrition and lifestyle modifications, they worked through a series of protocols to rebalance her digestive and genitourinary microbes.

This involved taking specific herbs in 30-day long protocols and supporting her ability to digest food with powerful digestive enzymes.

What improvements did she experience?

After 4 months on the programme, Vian reported the following results:

  • Bloating – alleviated – now occurs only when eating certain foods
  • Gas – alleviated – occurs only when eating certain foods
  • Pain to pass stool – no bleeding now – occasional mild discomfort on passing stool
  • Constipation – alleviated
  • Mouth ulcers – non – alleviated
  • Mood swings – gone
  • Hair loss – no change (this will need additional time as it is thyroid-related)
  • Swollen Vaginal Lips – non – alleviated
  • Painful intercourse – no more
  • Vaginal discharge – no discharge

These results were excellent! Vian had done a great job of following through with the protocols and she was rewarded by some life-changing results.

Here’s what she had to say…

Vian’s Testimonial

“I have seen many doctors and most sadly aren’t doctors who can help when it comes down to digestion problems.

I have to say the Hompes Program is by far the best health program I’ve ever used.

It has so many great ways to improve your health whether you have a medical condition or an average person looking to boost their health condition.

Thank you so much.”

Would you like a similar health turnaround?

It’s sad that western medicine doesn’t see the connections between different parts of the body.

In particular, your digestive system influences many – if not all – other organs, glands and tissues.

If you have digestive symptoms alongside low energy, mood swings, skin, hair and sleep problems your gut is going to be contributing to those other symptoms.

Similarly if you have a lot of chronic pain such as arthritis and headaches, or low sex drive, reproductive issue and so on, your gut could be the hub of the problem.

Getting well again begins with a decision.

A stool test might not be everyone’s idea of a pleasurable experience, but it uncovers many reasons for your symptoms.

It’s a single stool sample that you do at home.

No embarrassing clinic visits or doctor negotiations.

The lab tests for way more things than a medical lab ever would, and you just send your sample to them in the packaging provided.

It couldn’t be simpler.

We analyze the result for you, and give you some guidance on what it all means, and the action steps you need to take to begin feeling better.

I’m biased but I think it’s a no brainer

Irrespective of what your doc has told you, you CAN feel better, faster, and a stool test is the best starting point.

I don’t allow a year to pass without doing a stool test – I’ve done lots now – because I want to make sure each year that my gut is in tip-top condition.

What’s more, if the test comes back blank and we can’t help, I’ll refund every penny.

What do you have to lose?

Dave.
